Most of my friends are getting married, buying cars, and moving ahead. I have a stable job but still live with my parents and sometimes feel like I’m behind everyone else.
I actually think society puts too much pressure on people to hit certain milestones by a specific age. Some people buy cars they can’t afford just to appear successful. Others rush into marriages because they feel left behind. There is nothing wrong with taking longer if you are making thoughtful decisions. Focus on building a life you genuinely want rather than one that looks impressive to other people.
