Most of my friends are getting married, buying cars, and moving ahead. I have a stable job but still live with my parents and sometimes feel like I’m behind everyone else.
The biggest mistake people make is comparing outcomes without comparing circumstances. Living with your parents at 27 means different things in different situations. Are you supporting your family? Saving for a future goal? Building a business? Those factors matter. Create a list of goals you want to achieve over the next two years. Break them into financial, professional, and personal categories. Once you have a plan, you will spend less energy worrying about where others are and more energy improving your own situation.
